EPIC AUTHOR EVENT WEEK ONE GIVEAWAY!

HI! So, here's the contest I promised you! (Finally!) And remember, new contests will post every Monday between now and April 8th!

In case you forgot the deal, there is an EPIC author event scheduled for Powell's Books in Portland Oregon on April 17th! It will feature a panel of SEVEN fabulous authors, and I'm humbled and privileged to be included among them. There will also be EPIC ONE OF A KIND SWAG for all who attend! (More deets on that later.)

The authors are:
Mindee Arnett (The Nightmare Affair), Leigh Bardugo (Shadow and Bone), Sarah Fine (Sanctum), Kristin Halbrook (Nobody but Us), Ingrid Paulson (Valkyrie Rising), Kody Keplinger (The DUFFA Midsummer's Nightmare) and moi. =)

So, the contest: One winner will be chosen randomly each Friday between now and April 12th and they will have their pick of any of the above author's books, signed! Yep, FREE BOOKS just for you, because you know I love you, right? So, here's what you have to do. Just fill out the form below by Friday March 1st at noon PST. If you want extra entries, Tweet or Facebook links to this contest and include the links on the form, and for a bonus entry, answer the following question in comments:

What book(s) have you read in the last year that made you cry?

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!

I will total up each of your individual entries in the weekly contests for THE GRAND PRIZE, which is a set of one signed book from each author! (That's seven signed books!) So, the more contests you enter by filling out the weekly forms, and the more bonus entries you earn by spreading the word on Facebook and Twitter, the more entries you'll have into the final drawing, which will happen on Friday April 19th, when I get back from the event with all my signed books!

Yay! So, a few rules. Like I said, there are lots of chances for bonus entries, but otherwise, one entry per person, please. I'll post the winner here after noon on Friday, March 1st! Good luck!!

  1. A book that I've read in the past year that made my cry was The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski. <3333

And for that reason, it's one of my top favorites, lol!

  4. For some reason I can't see any form? Or did you mean the comment section? Bit confused now :-/ But that giveaway is too epic to miss, so I'll answer the question - I honestly can't remember the last time a book made me cry (though I have a vague recollection of crying over one or two of them last year) but Teeth by Hannah Moskowitz, which I only just finished, put a big lump in my throat quite a few times; not to the point of proper cry, but it was close. It's such a beautiful, beautiful book!!

  5. I can't see the form either! Sigh!
But I really cried over The fault in our stars because, sadly, I could relate to it. I've never cried so much for a book

  10. I don't really cry much when I read. Don't know what that says about me. But, JUST ONE DAY, by Gayle Forman, is a book I read recently that really resonated with me, mostly because of the main character, Allyson. I loved the journey she went on, and the places it took her. Paris, for one. <3 <3

  16. Without counting The Fault in Our Stars (most people cry with this book) the other book is The Little Prince. I don't know why I cry with it maybe because it's so sweet.
